| How do you feel about Teamwork? It's from the PHB II, kind of a feat system where a party that trains together can get benefits. Every four levels (lowest party member level) they can choose a benefit; there's a leader requirement and a follower requirement. An example is Camp Routine: Leader requires Survival 8 ranks, all others require Survival 1 rank, and it grants the people on watch +2 Spot and Listen and all those sleeping +4 Listen for sounds within 30 feet. | |

| Teamwork is totally fine by me. It was mentioned in James' game but unfortunately everyone had progressed too far with their characters, or there were other issues... If you guys can agree to get together and sort it out then go for it | |

| Team Shield Maneuver is great and if we train now we can start to use it as soon as I get Shield Specilazation ? is Wall of Steel too
TEAM SHIELD MANEUVER When your team fights as a group, its members can close ranks to protect a badly injured ally.
Training: Your group learns to react quickly when an ally falls. You drill in pushing aside a wounded team member before he tumbles to the ground and moving him out of harm’s way.
Task Leader Prerequisite: Shield Specialization (see page 82). I'll be getting this soon... Team Member Prerequisite: Shield Proficiency. Benefi t: When a team member’s hit points drop to –1 or lower, any teammate adjacent to him who carries a shield can use an immediate action to push him out of harm’s way. The injured team member moves 10 feet before falling prone. Tip: This tactic works best if one of the group’s secondline characters has a potion or wand ready to heal the fallen character. In this case, even a character who isn’t a member of the team can play a valuable role in making the most of this benefi t.
WALL OF STEEL By closing ranks and locking shields together, you and your teammates form an impenetrable barrier to shield a more vulnerable team member from enemies. Training: Your group stands in a tight formation and locks shields while a hired mercenary or assistant pelts everyone with blunt arrows. Each bruising shot reminds you to improve your form and teamwork.
Task Leader Prerequisite: Tower Shield Profi ciency and base attack bonus +8.
Team Member Prerequisite: Shield Profi ciency and base attack bonus +2. Benefi t: As a swift action, any member of the team can lose his shield bonus to AC and grant it to a single adjacent team member instead. This bonus stacks with the recipient’s existing shield bonus, if any. Tip: Any arcane spellcasters who are frequently exposed to missile fi re might want to take the Shield Profi ciency feat to gain this teamwork benefi t.

| That was my thought - unfortunately only two party members use shields, so the shield heavy teamworks won't really work. I was looking more at the ones that require the odd skill point. There's one that allows people to charge through each other and requires Jump 1 rank. But I think the camp watch one works the best. | |

| I think it's a great idea, if we plan to do any amount of overland travel we will all be going at your speed and not mine which more than doubles our speed ! What do I need for it and I'll put points in as we go up level(s) | |

| Re-Posted from other forum - Original Poster Ajax the Astounding
Looking ahead a bit as I now have a reason to take Ranger 2 ( extra movement ! Yay!) I am within striking distance of Ranger 3. Normally I wouldn't take it prefering Fighter 1. HOWEVER if I take it we are eligible for the Teamwork Feat where everybody moves at my speed, which would be 50. This would obviously massively increase our travel speed. ( I'm looking at you Anvil) So if we all want that Teamwork feat please let me know and I will take Ranger 3, if you're not bothered or would prefer another tell me and I will take Fighter instead.
